Will these seat covers look cheezy? (in customers’ own words)

This questions seems to be on alot of customer’s minds. Not to worry. Our seatcovers will NOT look “cheezy” at all. They’re fit is tailored, unlike other seat covers that look like a balloon, and our exclusive fabric is a durable yet comfortable and breathable material which besides being designed with the same contours of your original car seats it’s softness also conforms to seats shape. Thus, you protect your original seats without sacrificing too much style and comfort.

What kind of material are the seat covers made of ?

Throughout our site we use the term “exclusive” fabric because this is a special polyester and cotton blend fabric very similar to blue jeans material. This fabric is also sometimes referred to as “canvas”. However, canvas is a material used to make awnings and although our fabric is just as durable as true canvas, it is not hard and unflexible. Our blend is very durable yet also soft and comfortable so it conforms perfectly to car seats. We have experimented with many different fabrics but this blend is the best suited for the purpose it provides. Many customers also confuse our seat covers for “leather” based on how they fit…please know that our seat covers are not leather and are not meant to “re-upholster” your seats. They simply provide a convenient way to keep your seats clean and protected from normal wear and tear. Our covers are meant to be removed when soiled and machine washed/dried and put back to keep protecting.

How long can I expect to wait for my seat covers?

Seat Tee personal seat protectors are kept in stock and will be shipped immediately upon receipt of payment confirmation.  Your True Fit custom seat covers will be custom made to order immediately upon receipt of payment confirmation. Standard production time is approximately 10-12 working days on standard orders. Please do not count weekends as production is closed on weekends. Upon completion of your order, your seat covers will be shipped via UPS ground service, unless otherwise noted at checkout. Because we do maintain a large inventory of standard seat covers in stock, your order may be filled sooner. Embroidery, two tone and H2Out® seat cover are special orders and may require additional production time. When an email is provided, an automatic UPS email notification is sent to buyer.

How do I check status on my order?

Order status can be confirmed at any time by either calling us or emailing us. We will need your last name and or order # given at checkout in order to lookup order status.

What if I want a special logo embroidered?

Custom embroidered logos are available upon request and are considered “special orders”. You would specify this in the “price” dropdown menu available under each seatstyle. Later you may give a full description under “Special Instructions”. Should there be any uncertainty, someone from our order processing department will contact you to get clear specifications. When requesting a special logo or image, one may need to be provided. When requesting a name or word, instructions such as “italics/script” or ” block” letters should be specified. You will be prompted with these questions as you proceed through the checkout process. Please keep in mind that all special orders are non-returnable!

 

How do I choose the right color for my interior?

Colors are viewed differently depending on every computers’ monitor unique resolution. If you are not certain that the color being viewed in your monitor matches your vehicle’s interior, please email us a request for sample swatches with the specific colors you would like to receive in the mail. We cordially ask that you limit this request to no more than 6 color samples. Please note, covers will not be accepted for return simply because you did not “like it” once order is received. If you are uncertain, please request samples.

 

Do seat covers have a warranty?

 Our seatcovers are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a full 90 days. Covers should be properly installed per the instruction sheet that is provided in each package. Improper installation may create unnecessary strain on areas of the seat. Care should be taken when sitting in your vehicle and when washing.

Are seat covers washable?

Yes, simply remove seat covers, turn them inside out and throw then in the washer. You may use regular non bleach washing detergent.

Can seat covers be put in the dryer?

Yes, seat covers may be dried and should be left inside out during dry cycle. Use gentle dry cycle.

Are seat covers safe for use on seats with side Airbags?

Yes, our seat covers provide a full opening on the side for safe airbag deployment.

How do seat covers affect in-seat air conditioning and/or heating?

Because our seat cover fabrics are breathable, you should have minimal interference with the air flow from a/c or heat.

What does “custom” seat covers mean?

Custom seat covers are covers that are made to fit a specific year, make and model vehicle seat. Not a one size fits all cover like in the case of our Seat Tee personal seat protector which is not custom made but rather created to lay over any seat.  Further customization can be made by choice of custom logo or two-tone color combinations which are not standard stock items.

Are seat covers returnable?

Although seat covers are made to order, we want to be sure that every customer is completely satisfied with their purchase. We will accept returns of standard orders only when the reason for the return is reasonable. Please note, we cannot accept returns simply because you weren’t happy with the color once received (if uncertain, please request sample swatches). Please be careful when giving as a gift or surprise gift and when inputting the information into the order form. If you’re unsure, please give us a call or email us. Although we do maintain a large inventory of ready made seatcovers to supply our dealer accounts, please understand that most inernet orders are made to order. Embroidered seat covers or two tone seat covers cannot be accepted as these are special orders. Should a return be necessary, a Return Authorization must be requested. One may be obtained by contacting us either by phone or email. Shipping and Handling charges are not refundable. If free shipping was involved, a re-stocking fee of 20% to cover shipping and handling will be deducted at time of refund.
